CarPeek · Last updated: 14 July 2026 In short: CarPeek is a guidance tool that helps you check a used vehicle yourself. It gives you checklists and information, but it is not a professional appraisal and it does not guarantee the condition of any vehicle. All purchase decisions are yours. The App stores your data only on your own device. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and Pleyra ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the CarPeek mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent that such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

In-App Purchase (CarPeek Pro)

The App is free to download and includes core features at no cost. It also offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, "CarPeek Pro", which unlocks additional features such as brand-specific inspection packs, an unlimited garage, and PDF report and profile export.

CarPeek Pro is a single, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. All billing is processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not handle or store your payment details. You can restore a previous purchase on the same Apple account using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App. Purchases are final. Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's applicable terms and policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Important Disclaimer About Vehicle Inspections

CarPeek is an informational and educational aid only. It is not a professional vehicle inspection, appraisal, expertise report, or mechanical diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for one. The checklists, guidance, images, maintenance intervals, and any risk indicators shown in the App are general in nature and may not apply to a specific vehicle. They do not guarantee, certify, or verify the actual condition, safety, history, mileage, legal status, or value of any vehicle. Manufacturer guidance and local regulations always take precedence over information shown in the App.

You are solely responsible for any decision to inspect, buy, sell, or use a vehicle. Before buying a vehicle, we strongly recommend that you have it examined by a qualified mechanic or an authorized inspection service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss, cost, damage, or dispute arising from a vehicle transaction or from your reliance on information provided by the App.

Your Content

Any content that you create in the App (such as inspection notes, photos, vehicle profiles, and service records) is stored only on your device and remains your responsibility. You are responsible for keeping your own backups and for the accuracy of the information you enter. We have no access to this content and cannot recover it for you if it is lost, for example if you delete the App or your device is lost or reset. Please handle photos of documents such as registration or insurance responsibly.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App, or interfere with any other party's use of it. You agree not to use the App to violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, checklists, brand packs, images, logos, and software, is owned by Pleyra or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. "CarPeek" and "Pleyra" are names used by us to identify the App and its developer.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of inaccuracies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Pleyra be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or vehicles, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by agreement.

Apple App Store Terms

Because the App is made available through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, and you acknowledge and agree that:

Acknowledgment. These Terms are concluded between you and Pleyra only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Scope of License. The license granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Maintenance and Support. Pleyra is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services. Warranty. Pleyra is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the App to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Product Claims. Pleyra, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. Intellectual Property Rights. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Pleyra, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim. Legal Compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Third-Party Terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App. Third-Party Beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after a change means that you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of any protection granted to you by mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
